Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that all information provided on the registration form is accurate and kept up to date. Please inform us promptly of any changes to contact details, emergency contacts, medical information or other relevant circumstances.
Personal information will only be used for purposes relating to your child's participation in The Future Performer classes and activities.
Where a child takes part in a performance or production, certain information may be required for licensing, safeguarding or administrative purposes.

The Future Performer is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all pupils.
Whilst every reasonable effort is made to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils, participation in Musical Theatre activities involves a degree of physical activity. Pupils may take part in singing, acting, movement, dance and rehearsal activities.
Parents and guardians must inform The Future Performer of any medical condition, injury, additional need or other circumstance that may affect their child's participation.
The Future Performer and its teachers cannot accept responsibility for injuries or accidents except where liability arises as a result of proven negligence or a failure to meet an appropriate duty of care.
Appropriate physical contact may occasionally be used by teachers where necessary for teaching, guidance, safety or positioning. Physical contact may also naturally occur between pupils during performance activities and group exercises.
Fees are based on the number of classes scheduled within each term and are payable in accordance with the payment arrangements communicated at the time of enrolment.
Invoices or payment information will be provided to parents and guardians.
All pupils must be registered and have an agreed place before attending classes.
A half term's notice is required if you wish to cancel your child's place. Notice must be provided in writing. If a pupil withdraws without providing the required notice, fees for the notice period will remain payable.
No refunds or reductions in fees will be given for absence due to illness, holidays, family commitments or any other reason where the pupil chooses or is unable to attend.
Fees may be reviewed periodically. Parents and guardians will be given reasonable notice of any changes.
The Future Performer reserves the right to suspend or withdraw a pupil's place where fees remain consistently unpaid.
The Future Performer will always endeavour to run classes as scheduled.
Occasionally, classes may need to be cancelled or changed due to circumstances outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, venue closures, flooding, public emergencies, pandemics or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where possible, an alternative class or replacement session will be arranged. Where a replacement cannot reasonably be provided, a credit may be offered towards a future class at the discretion of The Future Performer.
Refunds will not normally be issued where a class cannot take place due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
No refunds or reductions in fees will be given for classes missed by a pupil due to holidays, illness or other personal circumstances.
Pupils should attend classes wearing comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely and safely.
Appropriate footwear should be worn for the activities taking place. Parents and guardians will be informed in advance if specific clothing or footwear is required for rehearsals or performances.
Hair should be tied back where necessary for safety and to allow pupils to participate comfortably. Jewellery should be kept to a minimum and may need to be removed for certain activities.
Classes are held at The Carey Scutt Hall, Plaistow Lane, Bromley BR1 3AR.
Pupils and families are expected to respect the venue and its facilities at all times.
Food should not be consumed during class unless specifically permitted. Pupils may bring a bottle of water. Chewing gum is not permitted during classes.
Parents, guardians and pupils should ensure that they leave the venue and surrounding area tidy and treat the premises with respect. Please be mindful of local residents and other users of the venue when arriving and leaving.
Class capacity. Saturday Musical Theatre classes have a maximum capacity of 24 children per class. Places are subject to availability and are allocated by The Future Performer.
The Future Performer reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the timetable, class structure, venue or teaching arrangements where necessary. Wherever possible, reasonable notice will be given.
The Future Performer cannot accept responsibility for children outside of their scheduled class times. Parents and guardians must ensure that children are dropped off and collected promptly.
Late collection. Parents and guardians are expected to collect children promptly at the end of their scheduled class. If a parent or guardian is 30 minutes or more late collecting a child, a £25 late collection charge will apply for each half-hour period, or part thereof, that the collection is late. This charge reflects the additional supervision required after the scheduled class time and is payable promptly.
Any child who is permitted to make their own way home must have written permission from their parent or guardian. Please inform a member of staff in advance if your child needs to leave class early.
Parents and guardians are not normally permitted to remain in the class unless specifically invited. From time to time, parents may be invited to watch a presentation, sharing or performance.
Pupils are responsible for their own personal belongings. The Future Performer cannot accept responsibility for belongings that are lost, stolen or damaged.
All pupils are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully. Respect for teachers, staff, fellow pupils and the venue is essential at all times.
The Future Performer does not tolerate bullying, harassment, discriminatory behaviour, inappropriate language or behaviour that compromises the safety or wellbeing of others.
Mobile phones should not be used during class unless permission has been given by the teacher or in an emergency. Pupils should listen to instructions and follow reasonable directions given by members of staff.
If a pupil's behaviour is consistently disruptive or unacceptable, The Future Performer reserves the right to take appropriate action, which may include speaking with parents or guardians, temporarily suspending participation or withdrawing the pupil's place where necessary.
Parents, guardians and carers are also expected to communicate respectfully with staff and other families. The Future Performer reserves the right to withdraw services where behaviour from a parent, guardian or pupil is considered abusive, threatening or unreasonable, or where it compromises the safety or wellbeing of staff or pupils.
The Future Performer is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all pupils.
Teaching staff and any relevant adults working with children will be subject to appropriate safeguarding procedures and checks where required for their role. The Future Performer reserves the right to change teaching staff where necessary.
Teachers may use appropriate physical contact where necessary for teaching, guidance or safety.
Kim Thursfield is the Principal of The Future Performer and is responsible for the overall running of the classes.

Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during classes, rehearsals, performances and events for purposes including celebrating pupils' achievements, promotional and marketing materials, The Future Performer website, social media, printed materials, and class development and teaching purposes.
Specific consent arrangements will be communicated during registration or where required.
Parents and guardians should not post photographs or videos containing children other than their own on social media without the appropriate permission. Pupils must not take photographs or videos during class without the teacher's permission.
If filming or photography is taking place during a class, rehearsal or performance, families must respect any instructions given regarding the use and sharing of images.
Professional photography or filming may occasionally be arranged for performances or special events.
Parents and guardians are responsible for parking legally and considerately when dropping off and collecting pupils. Please be respectful of local residents, driveways, pedestrians and other users of the venue.
The Future Performer cannot accept responsibility for vehicles or personal belongings left in vehicles.
Please allow sufficient time for drop-off and collection, particularly around busy periods.
Parents and guardians must notify The Future Performer of any medical condition, injury, allergy, learning need or other relevant information that may affect their child's participation. Please ensure that all medical information provided on the registration form is accurate and kept up to date.
If your child requires medication during class, this must be discussed with The Future Performer in advance.
In the event of a serious accident or medical emergency, The Future Performer may seek appropriate emergency medical assistance if a parent or guardian cannot be contacted. Any injury sustained during class should be reported to a member of staff as soon as possible.
Pupils should not attend class if they are unwell or have a contagious illness. Please keep your child at home if they have, for example, a fever within the previous 24 hours; sickness or diarrhoea within the previous 48 hours; a contagious infection or communicable illness; or symptoms that would make participation difficult or unsafe.
No refund will normally be given for absence due to illness.
The Future Performer may offer pupils opportunities to take part in performances, showcases, productions and other events. Participation in additional performances or events may be optional unless otherwise stated as part of the class programme.
Pupils taking part in a performance may be required to attend additional rehearsals. Parents and guardians will be given as much notice as reasonably possible.
Performance opportunities may involve additional costs, such as costumes, tickets, rehearsal fees, licensing or other production-related expenses. Where applicable, these costs will be communicated in advance. Once performance-related fees or costs have been paid or committed to, they may be non-refundable, particularly where costs have already been incurred.
The Future Performer reserves the right to make casting and participation decisions based on the requirements of the production and the professional judgement of the teaching team.
The Future Performer reserves the right to make reasonable amendments to these Terms and Conditions where necessary. Parents and guardians will be notified of significant changes.
Continued attendance and payment for classes will be regarded as acceptance of the current Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are designed to ensure that The Future Performer can provide a positive, safe and enjoyable experience for all pupils and families.
